For some time now, I've been contemplating a change. Back in 2012, when I started this blog, I was convinced that digistamps were all I'd ever want to work with. As time wore on, I've become more interested in rubber stamping, not to mention mixed media, mini albums, altered art, etc.

I came to realize that the blog name Folded Paper & Printed Pixels was not a good fit for me any longer. It's taken a lot of thought, and a LOT of ideas being chosen and then discarded for one reason or another, for me to finally settle on what, I think, suits what I do best. After all, every card we make, or project we create, is done out of love. Love for the intended recipient, love of crafting, and the joy, friendship, and love we get to experience as part of this hobby. The name I finally settled on is

I chose to create a new blog, rather than simply change the name of this blog, as a continuation of the fresh start that this name will bring. All of my previous posts will be available on the new blog. And, I will continue to add my new blog posts to both blogs throughout the month of June, in order to give those who want to move forward with me a chance to find me.
Thank you, for all of the love and support you have shown me here at Folded Paper & Printed Pixels. I look forward to your visit to my new little online home.

Much love,

Friday Freebie: Love Pours Down

This has been a heck of a week.  It started out with one not so good day after another - nothing major, just little irritations that began the moment I woke up and lasted until bedtime....then mid-week I got an email from a friend that reminded me how precious life is, and how insignificant all those irritations were.

Don't wait for a major event to spur you into telling (or reminding) someone how much they mean to you, or to make a little extra time for them.  Every day there are those who receive their last smile, last hug, and last "I love you".

And to my friend - many prayers and lots of mental hugs being sent the way of you and your family....

Sorry you missed it!
Freebies are only available for a week,. so get here quick!
